Do you want to know what happiness is?

It's waking up in the middle of the night for no reason,

     shifting under the blankets and feeling that you're next to me.

I turn around and see you in your most peaceful and vulnerable state.

You breath as though the weight of the world lays on anyone's shoulder but your own.

I smile, kiss your face in the most gentle manner so as not to wake you.

I turn back around involuntarily, a grin forms on your own face.

I feel an arm wrap around my waist, and I know it doesn't get any better than this.
