We are not defined by skype or video calls

or text messages or distance.

I won't let those things change us or the lack of those things.

but that doesn't change the fact that sometimes it gets difficult

or the fact that I get mad over the smallest things. 

I know this is all worth it.

We seem crazy and sometimes insane but I don't care.

It's worth it because I know that someday you will find the marks that cover my torso

or the scars that cover my hips.
